PRODUCTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR CATTLE
The top cattle breeds in Australia

I. Due to transportation: Cattle get fatigued, hard to breathe, stunned,... death.

1. Causes:

- Bovine respiratory disease – BRD ( stress by transportation; stress by weather; fatigue; ...)

- Susceptible to secondary infectious diseases ( Pasteurellosis)

- Change the new environment which infected by some pathogens

 2. Health management 

 - Need supply enough electrolyte substances for cattle: Vime C Electrolyte 1kg/ 2.000 liter of water, cattle need to be kept in the spacious barns

- Measure body temperature ( the normal temperature is 38.5 o C) if the cattle get a fever ( the temperature up to 39 o C, we should consider which organs or body parts are infected ( respiration systems, digestive system, injury...) 

- In case, the cattle get fever. Use Ketovet 100 1ml/ 30-50 kg body weight, 1 time/day; or Loxic 1ml/ 40 kg body weight

- In case, the cattle get respiratory diseases. 

+Use Tilmo- Vime 300 to inject with dosage 1ml/30kg body weight or Tulavitryl 1ml/40 kg of body weight.

+Drinking Mucostop 1g/1 liter of water ( 2g/ 1 kg of feed) for 7-10kg of body weight.

 

II. Respiratory diseases

1. Symptom: Fever ( > 39.5oC), cough, hard to breath, runny nose...

2. Treatment: 

a) Antibiotics:

- 1st day: Inject Tilmo- Vime 300 1ml/30kg body weight or Tulavitryl 1ml/40kg of body weight

- From 2nd day to 5th day: Ceptiket 1 to 2 mL/50 kg of body weight, Cequin 250 2 ml/50 kg bw or Lincoseptryl 1ml/ 8-10 kg of body weight

b) Support products:

- Furovet 100 1ml/20kg; 1 time/day; 3-4 consecutive days

- Anti-inflammatory:

+ Loxic 1ml/40 kg of b.w 

+Ketovet 100 1ml/40-50 kg, 3-4 consecutive days

+ Tonavet   4mg/kg bodyweight

c) Oral solutions

Tilmo-Vime 250 3ml/10 liter of water

+Tilmo – Vime 300 1ml/3 liter of water

+ Flor- Doxy 1g/ 20kg of b.w ( 1kg/2.5 tons of food)

Mucostop 2kg/ tons of food

III. Foot problems

- Treatment:

+ Supply the premix product Biotin HAD 1kg/ tons of food

+ If the cattle have pus-filled bumps on foot, we need to inject Lincoseptryl 1ml/ 8-10 kg of body weight, Ceptiket 1 to 2 mL/50 kg or Amogen 30-40ml/day (for adult animal), then clean the injuries by Vime – Iodine or spray by Alusol; Vime – Blue or Terra - Blue

 

 

IV. Diarrhea

1. Symptoms: Signal of diarrhea ( stomachache, fever, body temperature decrease, loose stools...)

- In case the cattle infected by parasite and helminth, use the parasiticide products Fenben 10% ( drinking 1ml/10kg b.w) or Clomectin ( inject 1ml/50kg b.w)

2. Treatment

- Drinking Vime- Electrolyte 1kg/2000 liter of water

- Inject Atropin 1ml/10-15 kg body weight, 1 time/day, 2-3 consecutive days

Vime- Canlamin 20-40ml/head, depending on their body weight

- If the cattle diarrhea with bloody, inject Vitamin K 1ml/10-15kg, 1 time/day, 2-3 consecutive days

- Antibiotics:

Enroxic LA 1ml/20kg b.w, if they are not recovery after 48 hours, we should inject to the 2nd time

Vimefloro FDP 1ml/10kg, 1 time/day, use 3-4 consecutive days
