Broad-spectrum cephalosporin is an antibiotic with bactericidal activity against a wide range of Gram + and Gram - bacteria.
Each ml contains:
Cephalexin sodium....................................200 mg
For antibiotic therapy in cattle, sheep, camel, dogs, and cats. Cephalexin is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic with bactericidal activity against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. For the treatment of infections caused by cephalexin sensitive organisms in cattle, sheep, camels, dogs and cats such as respiratory and digestive diseases, arthritis, skin and soft tissue diseases.
Shake the vial well before use.
Cattle, sheep, and camels: For intramuscular injection in the anterior half of the neck.
Dogs and cats: for intramuscular or subcutaneous administration.
Tissue reaction may occur at the site of injection. Massage the injection site after administration.
Recommended dose rate:
Cattle, sheep, camels: 7 mg/kg (1 ml per 28 kg) once daily for up to 5 days
Dogs and cats: 10 mg/kg (1 ml per 20 kg) once daily for up to 5 days.
Withdrawal time:
MILK: Cows: Nil; Sheep: 3 days.
MEAT: Cattle: 4 days; Sheep: 7 days
