- Analgesic, antispasmodic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory.
- Due to combination with vitamin C, Analgin C gives more effective and helps enhance immune system.
Average dose 10 - 20 mg/kg bw.
Intramuscularly and subcutaneously:
+ For large ruminants: 25-45 mL
+ For horses: 25-50 mL
+ For small ruminants: 2.5–10 mL
+ For dogs: 1.5-6 mL
+ For cats: 0.6– 2.4 mL
Intravenously (slowly), intraperitoneally:
+ For large ruminants and horses: 15 - 20 mL
+ For small ruminants: 6 mL
+ For dogs: 1.5 - 6 mL
+ For cats: 0.6 – 2.4 mL
The injection may be repeated at the same dose.
SIDE EFFECTS
The continuous administration of high doses may cause leukopenia, agranulocytosis. Intramuscular injection of solution may possibly irritate subcutaneous tissues without causing necrosis or
suppuration.
Store in dry place, below 30oC. Protect from light.
