Prevention and treatment of diseases caused by sensitive bacteria in poultry
Each gram contains:
Colistin Sulfate ...............................10 000 000 IU
Colistin is a cyclopeptide antibiotic. It belongs to the polymyxin therapeutic class, with bactericidal activity, being effective against Gram negative bacteria, such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigellas, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It causes disorganisation of the bacterial cell membrane with leakage of intracellular materials and it inhibits bacterial oxidative metabolism.
Colistin fort is indicated for the prevention and treatment of diseases
caused by sensitive bacteria in poultry. Colistin is effective primarily
against Gram negative microorganisms.
For oral administration through the drinking water or feed.
1 kg per 10 000liters of water or 1kg per 5 tons of feed for 3 to 7 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: 2 days.
Store in a cool and dry place under room temperature. Strictly keep away from light and avoid heat exposure.
