Each tablet contains:

Cephalexin.................................................................. 60 mg

• For the treatment of infections caused by Cephalexin sensitive organisms.
• In the treatment of infection of both the upper and lower urinary tract caused by susceptible Staphylococcus aureus, E.coli, Proteus mirabilis and Klebsiella.
• In the treatment of respiratory tract infections and arthritis caused by Cephalexin, susceptible microorganisms in birds.

• For direct oral administration.
• One tablet (60mg) per adult pigeon (50mg Cephalexin per 1kg of body weight). Half tablet (30mg) per newly weaned pigeon.
• Treatments for 5-7 days.

Precautions and side effect: 

Diarrhea may occasionally occur, allergic reactions may be observed, but the incidence is much less than that seen with penicillins. Avoid use in animals with a history of acute allergy to penicillin

Interactions:

Cephalosporins combined with an aminoglycoside antibiotic or potent loop diuretic (eg-furosemide), may increase the probability of nephrotoxicosis from that which one would experience with either drug being used alone.

Store in a dry, dark place between 20^oC and 25^oC.
