Antispasmodic agent
COMPOSITION:
Each mL contains:
Atropine sulfate.................................10 mg
Exp.qs………………………………………….. 1mL
INDICATION:
For use in horses, dogs and cats:
- As a parasympatholytic and as a partial antidote to organophosphorus poisoning.
- Antispasmodic in gastrointestinal upsets (diarrhea).
- Respiratory stimulant.
DOSAGE:
- For pre-anesthetic, or treatment of bradycardias: Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection at a dose of 1 ml/ 12.5-25 kg body weight.
- For organophosphate and carbamate toxicosis: 1 ml/1 - 2.5 kg body weight
- The first dose should be administered intravenously at a dose of 1/4 of the indicated dose. If symptoms persist, administer a second dose via intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.
STORAGE:
Store in a cool and dry place under room temperature. Strictly keep away from light and avoid heat exposure.
