Doxycycline 5%
Each gram contains:
Doxycycline (hyclate)...............................50 mg
Exp.qs…………………………………………………..…1g
Treatment of respiratory, digestive, urogenital, pyoderma, folliculitis, ottitis media, osteomyelitis,... caused by bacteria sensitive to doxycycline in dogs and cats.
General dose for dogs and cats:
- For the first day: 1 g/ 5 kg bw per day, divided into two doses 12 hours apart (equal to 5 mg doxycycline/kg bw per dose)
- For the following days: 1 g/ 10 kg bw per day, or as directed by a veterinarian.
- Each gram is equivalent to 1 ml medicine.
NOTE:
- Ideally, medicine should be offered at the same time as or immediately after feeding.
- Clean the medicine tube after each use.
- Each gram is equivalent to 1 mL of medicine.
