Effectively control the time of oestrus in cycling cows/mares.
Each mL contains:
Dinoprost (as Dinoprost Trometamol)........ 5 mg
Exp.qs.............................................................. 1 mL
Vime Prost is indicated for its luteolytic and/or oxytocic effects in cattle and horses. The indications for use are:
- To more effectively control the time of oestrus in cycling cows/mares.
- To treat cows/mares which have a functional corpus luteum, but do not express behavioral oestrus.
- To induce abortion.
- To induce parturition in cattle.
- For treatment of chronic metritis and pyometra in cattle.
- For controlled breeding in normally-cycling dairy cows.
Administer by intramuscular injection by a single dose.
Cattle: 5 mL (25 mg dinoprost) per head
Horses: 1 mL (5 mg dinoprost) per head
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Cattle: Meat and offal - 2 days; Milk - zero hours.
Horses: Not to be used in horses intended for human consumption. Treated horses may never be slaughtered for human consumption.
Store in a dry place, below 30oC. Protect from light.
