Povidone-iodine is an organic compound with a broad spectrum germicidal action against all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores.
COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains:
Povidone Iodine.................................................. 100 mg
INDICATION:
Povidone-iodine is an organic compound with a broad spectrum germicidal action against all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. It is used in the decontamination of veterinary practice, premises, and equipment. It is non-toxic, non-itching, and safe to use with a 24 hours action.
DOSAGE:
Dilute in water. Dilution is as follows:
- Disinfection of udder wound: 10ml/ 2 liters of water
- Disinfection of injection site, in surgery, castration: 10ml/ liter of water.
- Misting or aerial spray on the animal or poultry when an epidemic occurs: 15ml for 4 liters of water.
- Disinfecting equipment and premises: 10ml/ 4 liters of water
- Hatching egg sanitation: 10ml/ 20 liters of water
- Sterilization of drinking water: 10ml/ 20liters or water
Precaution:
- Medicated water should be used within 24 hours.
- Keep out of reach of children.
STORAGE:
Store in a dry place not exceeding 30oC. Protect from moisture.
