
Treatment of infections caused by bacteria susceptible to ceftiofur
Each mL contains:
Ceftiofur ……. ……………….100 mg
Ketoprofen.…………….……..100 mg

Treatment of infections caused by bacteria susceptible to ceftiofur and reduction of associated clinical signs of inflammation or pyrexia in cattle and pigs.
Cattle: Bovine respiratory disease (shipping fever, pneumonia), acute interdigital necrobacillosis (foot-rot), laminitis, reproductive tract infections, metritis, mastitis.
Pigs: Respiratory diseases, salmonellosis, metritis, mastitis.
Shake well before use.
Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, for 3-5 days.
Cattle: Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection
- Respiratory diseases: 1 mL/45-90 kg body weight/day, for 3 days.
Additional injections may be administered on day 4-5 if recovery is not sufficient. Alternatively, two doses of 1 mL/45 kg body weight can be administered on day 1 and day 3 (48 hours apart).
- Mastitis, metritis: 1 mL/45 kg body weight/day, for 5 days.
- Foot rot, laminitis: 1 mL/45-90 kg body weight/day, for 3 days.
Do not inject more than 15 mL per injection site.
Pigs: Intramuscular injection, 1 mL/33 kg body weight, once daily, for 3 consecutive days.
To ensure correct dosage body weight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.
WITHDRAWAL PERIODS
- Meat: 4 days;
- Milk: 0 days.
Store in dry place, below 30oC. Protect from light.
